My mind was racing and I was worried that the person next to me could hear my heart thumping. I had reluctantly dragged myself to the health center, anxiously looking around the formally furnished doctor’s waiting room, I quickly sat myself in the far corner. My mind wandered to the shrilling phone rings that woke me that morning. My doctor’s words, “Your test report shows some abnormalities, come and see me urgently” kept circling in my head. I made an appointment to see my doctor that afternoon, however for the millionth time, I asked myself, “What could it be?” The wait itself was killing me.

For the next 3 years I was sent on a roller coaster ride of appointments, biopsies, countless blood tests, X-rays, only to be told that they could not find anything, however I felt fatigued, listless and de-energized all the time.

The words “If you could focus your attention upon the idea of experiencing physical well-being with as much passion as you focus upon the absence of it, not only would your recovery come quickly, but maintaining your physical well-being and balance would also be easy” by Abraham-Hicks, jumped at me from a recent book that I had read.

Seeing those words, I made a decision there and then, to take charge of my own health. I realized that western medicine system is a Science of Disease, whereas ancient wisdom, derived from Ayurveda is a Science of Health. For the next 2 years, I made my personal mantra “You create your own health through nature.” I found amazing natural herbal supplements and I recovered completely.
